Rancho Cucamonga, CA — [January 13, 2025} — TRL Systems is excited to announce a significant transition in its Healthcare Division as it bids farewell to General Manager Steve Adams, a leader whose contributions have been foundational to the company’s success. Effective January 1, 2025, Jason Souza and Sy Granillo will assume co-leadership of the division, combining their complementary skills, extensive expertise and shared vision for the future.
Dynamic Leadership to Drive Growth
Jason Souza, a 22-year TRL veteran, will oversee operations for the Healthcare Division. “We’re not just maintaining what we’ve built; Sy and I are setting ambitious goals to double our business in the coming years,” says Jason. “By focusing on innovation, expanding services and strengthening partnerships, we’ll continue to push boundaries.”
Jason’s approach is rooted in collaboration and customization. “With our talented IT team and tailored solutions, we deliver immense value to clients. From nationwide programming to expanding into Northern California and beyond, the opportunities are limitless,” he added.
Meanwhile, Sy Granillo, a seasoned leader in sales and estimating, will lead the division’s sales and marketing efforts. With a strong commitment to growth and a deep connection to TRL’s culture, Sy's leadership has been instrumental in driving the Healthcare Division to double sales and revenue growth during his tenure.

As General Manager of Sales for TRL Systems’ Healthcare Division, Sy Granillo leads the division’s sales and marketing efforts, driving strategic growth and innovation. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare sales and business development, Sy is dedicated to building strong partnerships and delivering exceptional results for TRL clients. Under his leadership, TRL’s Healthcare Division doubled its growth to $20-plus million and is poised for continued success.
Sy joined TRL Systems in 2015 as a Sales Manager in the Healthcare Division, where he excelled in sales leadership, business development and strategic planning. His contributions include introducing new technologies in patient response systems, infant protection and weapons detection solutions. He innovated TRL’s clinical services by adding a nurse practitioner to train clients in the newest, most advanced healthcare technologies.
Before joining TRL, Sy worked as a Field Sales Consultant at Henry Schein, where he partnered with private and group practice dentists to provide tailored business solutions. This experience, combined with his deep respect for TRL’s culture and values, has equipped him with the expertise to lead the Healthcare Division with integrity and a customer-focused approach.
Working closely with Jason Souza, General Manager of Operations, Sy focuses on strategic expansion, enhancing customer integrations and advancing TRL’s innovative offerings to meet the evolving needs of healthcare organizations.
